Mustard prices rose by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on scattered demand from retailers.
Groundnut solvent refined, mustard pakki and kachi ghani oils also ended higher.
However, non-edible oils continued to move in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.

Marketmen said increased demand from retailers mainly led to the rise in mustard and groundnut solvent refined oil prices.
In the national capital, mustard expeller oil (Dadri) rose by Rs 50 to Rs 7,000 per quintal. Mustard pakki and kachi ghani oils traded higher by Rs 25 each to Rs 1,225-1,275 and Rs 1,275-1,375 per tin respectively. Groundnut solvent refined also edged up by the same margin to Rs 1,300-1,375 per tin.
