Prices of mustard and palmolein oils strengthened by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on the back of pick up in buying activity, driven by rising demand.
Among non edible, castor edged up on industrial demand.
Marketmen said selective buying by retailers amid restricted supplies from producing regions, mainly kept mustard and palmolein oil prices higher.

Palmolein (RBD) and palmolein (Kandla) oils also traded higher by Rs 50 each to Rs 5,700 and Rs 5,630 per quintal, respectively.
Groundnut solvent refined too edged up by Rs 30 to Rs 1,700-1,750 per tin.
In the non-edible section, castor oil went up by Rs 10 to Rs 9,900-10,000 per quintal on increased industrial offtake.
