Prices of mustard and sesame oils rose upto Rs 150 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today following scattered buying by stockists against restricted arrivals from producing belts.
However, other edible and non-edible oils continued to trade in a tight range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Marketmen said increased buying by stockists amid tight supply from producing belts mainly led to the rise in mustard and sesame oil prices.
