Prices of mustard and sesame oils eased by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today owing to slackened demand from retailers.

However, other edible and non-edible oils continued to move in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.

Traders said sluggish demand from retailers against sufficient stocks on higher supplies from producing regions mainly led to the decline in mustard and sesame oil prices.

In the national capital, mustard expeller (Dadri) and sesame mill delivery oils were down by Rs 50 each to Rs 8,300 and Rs 6,700 per quintal, respectively.
