Prices of mustard and soyabean oil prices rose by Rs 50 per quintal on the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on increased offtake by vanaspati millers.
Linseed oil in the non-edible section, also looked up on the back of rising demand from paint industries.
Traders said increased buying by vanaspati millers and retailers to meet ongoing marriage season demand mainly led to rise in select edible oil prices.

Soyabean refined mill delivery (Indore) and soyabean degum (Kandla) oils traded higher by the same margin to Rs 7,600 and Rs 7,400 per quintal respectively.
Among non-edible oils, linseed traded higher by Rs 50 to Rs 7,450 per quintal.
