Mustardseed prices dipped by Rs 46 to Rs 4,518 per quintal in futures trading today as traders cut down their bets amid a weak trend at the physical markets.
Marketmen said a subdued trend at the spot markets due to muted demand mainly led to the fall in mustardseed prices at futures trade.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, mustardseed for delivery in January was trading lower by Rs 46, or 1.01 per cent, to Rs 4,518 per quintal, with an open interest of 37,200 lots.
Also, mustardseed for delivery this month moved down by Rs 17, or 0.36 per cent, to Rs 4,650 per quintal, having an open interest of 9,360 lots.
