Cardamom prices softened by 0.30 per cent to Rs 1,073.70 per kg in futures market today as investors exited their positions amid sluggish demand in the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in April was trading lower by Rs 3.20, or 0.30 per cent to Rs 1073.70 per kg in business turnover of 3 lots.
Traders said offloading of positions by participants owing to slackened demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position on higher supplies from producing belts mainly influenced cardamom prices at futures trade.
