Refined soya oil prices declined by 0.24 per cent to Rs 672.30 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators reduced exposure, driven by easing demand in the spot markets against adequate stocks position.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in November fell by Rs 1.60, or 0.24 per cent to Rs 672.30 per 10 kg with an open interest of 46,130 lots.

Likewise, the oil for delivery in December traded lower by 95 paise, or 0.14 per cent to Rs 679.50 per 10 kg in 21,410 lots.

Market analysts said offloading of positions by traders on the back of subdued demand in the spot market against sufficient stocks position weighed on refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
