In a gruesome incident, the mutilated body of a man was found dumped in southeast Delhi's Sangam Vihar area this morning, police said.

The body had been cut into two parts. Ears and nose had been cut off from the body while the legs too were chopped off, said a senior police officer.

The official said that the neck had also been slit.

"The body parts had been cut in order to hide the identity of the man. The man must have been aged between 35-40 years. He was murdered somewhere else and his body was dumped in I-Block, Sangam Vihar," he said.
