Sonam Kapoor says her father, actor Anil Kapoor, is a staunch feminist and he never differentiated between his daughters and son.
The 31-year-old actress said she and her sister Rhea were not brought up any differently than their brother Harshvardhan.
"Cinema is a beautiful medium, can be used to inspire change. Ignorance is what is destroying the country. My father is a staunch feminist. I was not brought up any differently than my brother Harsh," Sonam said during a session at the NDTV Youth For Change conclave.
