Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said government did not function on slogans and promises but driven by policies.

While taking part at Sohrai Mahotsav organized at Netaji Stadium in Nala block of Jamtaa district, Das said government functioned on policies and not slogans and promises.

Underlining the priorities of the government, he said the government have planned to make five lakhs youths skilled by 2020.

"We want to ensure that our youths need not to migrate from Jharkhand in search of employment and working in this regard," he said adding that our other priority was to ensure that every bonafide beneficiary must get the benefits of the government schemes.

Das also emphasized the need for education of girl child.

"Allow the girl child to study as far as they want to study and than only think of her marriage," he said stating that education would bring change in life.

Admitting that two year in power would not fill the potholes left behind since last 70 years, the chief minister urged people to allow his government sometime to fulfill promises made by his government.
