Vice Admiral Thura Thet Swe, the Commander-in-Chief of Myanmar Navy arrived here today on a two-day visit to the Eastern Naval Command.
He is accompanied by his wife Dr Wai Mar Mar Htun and a four-member delegation.
Swe held a discussion with Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Naval Command, Vice Admiral Anil Chopra, and he was briefed on the role and function of the Command, an official release here said.
He also visited a few frontline ships, submarines and establishments of the Command, it said.
