Myanmar is seeking Indian investments in various sectors including energy, agriculture, tourism and forestry.
Consul General of Myanmar in Kolkata Kyaw Swe Tint said there was a lot of opportunities to invest in the areas of agriculture, tourism, forestry, livestock, fisheries and energy.
He said the volume of Indo-Myanmar trade was increasing every year. The 2013-14 provisional figures stood at USD 1,932 million.

The envoy said Myanmar was banking on Indian assistance for the proposed India-Myanmar-Thailand Highway project.
This would be further extended to Laos and Cambodia with the assistance of the Indian government, he said.
