A Myanmarese national allegedly killed his friend's wife by repeatedly stabbing her on the stomach at Khawmawi in Lawngtlai district of Mizoram, police said today.
Thawngchungbika (20), hailing from Halkha in Myanmar, stabbed Tialpungi (40) to death at around 10 PM last night, police said.
The assailant was arrested this morning.
Thawngchungbika and the victim's husband were co-workers, but the motive behind the murder was not known, they said.
