A total of 368 gram of heroin was seized and two persons, including a Myanmarese arrested in Aizawl by Mizoram Excise and Narcotics department's Anti Narcotic Squad.
The department spokesperson Peter Zohmingthanga told PTI that the contraband, seized in last 24 hours, was worth around Rs 14 lakh in the local market.
Chungliana (40) of Muanna Veng and Khaidoliana (45) of Haimual in neighbouring Myanmar were arrested in this connection, he said.
They were booked under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, Zohmingthanga said.
