Nagaland Armed Police constables injured

Two constables of Nagaland Armed Police have been injured after a cluster bus rammed their car in Lutyens' Delhi, police said today.

The incident happened yesterday morning when Changkhu Konyank (44) from the sixth batallion of the Nagaland Armed Police (NAP) was travelling along with his subordinate constable Heralal Ram in a government vehicle.

Their car was hit by the bus on Tolstoy Marg. The car turned turtle as a result of the accident, they said.

The duo was taking food items to their colleagues posted at the Reserve Bank of India. They also told police that the bus driver helped them. The driver, however, was arrested later, police said.
 

In another incident, five persons sustained injuries after a cluster bus rammed their auto-rickshaw on Kasturba Gandhi Marg in Lutyens' Delhi. The bus driver fled the spot.
