Nagaland Guv to attend 4th Annual Fashion Show, Colours of NE

Nagaland Governor P B Acharya will grace the 4th Annual Fashion Show entitled 'Colours of North East' organised by Department of Fashion Technology along with The Global Open University, Nagaland here.

The show would be judged by Theja Meru, Kerehienuo Sorhie and Regina Chakrunuo, while the choreographer would be Thejasilie Sekhose.

Event coordinator and faculty member, Department of Fashion Technology, TGOU, Sentitola Ao said the fashion show, besides its entertainment value, would also be educative in nature as it was a part of the BBA (Fashion Design) programme of the university.

It would showcase the creative talent of six BBA (Fashion Design) students, out of which four of them were in the final year of the course.
 

Colors of North East would put together the tradition and culture of the eight sister states, wherein the four students would be presenting their designs based on the sub-themes like Surreal Meadows by Sashibenla, Masquerade by Kudulu Sapuh, Dark Classic by Rulhouvonuo Angami and Tears of Warriors by Neishe-u Puro.

Two second year students Dosoulau Vemai and Therali Ovung would showcase their design on Ancestral Warriors, Sentitola said.

Winner of the third edition of the Fashion Show Thezasilie Sekhose would choreograph the event, while the host would be Ruth K Chang.
