Naidu meets Modi

Amid reports that he was cosying up to BJP for an alliance, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu met its prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi in the national capital today.

The meeting holds significance at a time when Naidu is holding deliberations with various political leaders over the Telangana bill.

However, emerging out of the meeting, Naidu refused to speak to the media.

The two leaders are believed to have discussed the political strategy ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.

Naidu is keen to forge an alliance with BJP, while trying to encash on the popularity of Modi in the state. Andhra Pradesh also goes to polls along with the Lok Sabha elections.
