It was an all woman hour in the Lok Sabha today.

The House burst into a peel of laughter after Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu brought to the attention of the members that a question related to women was asked by a woman MP, replied by a woman Minister in the House chaired by a woman.

The moment came when the Lok Sabha was discussing the issue of setting up of One Stop Centre, being set up by Women and Child Development Ministry, to offer medical, legal and psychological aid to women affected by violence.

While the supplementary question was posed by MP from Kerala, P K Sreemathi Teacher (CPI-M), reply was given by Minister Maneka Gandhi while Speaker Sumitra Mahajan was in the chair.

As Teacher was repeatedly addressing Mahajan "Speaker Madam", Naidu intervened in the discussion and said "It is from Madam through Madam to Madam", a comment which led the whole House burst into laugher.

The Speaker immediately responded by saying "the question is also about women".
