Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik today said he will take up with the Akhilesh Yadav government complaints of mass recruitment of candidates from a particular caste in government jobs.
"I will seek information from the government over alleged reports of largescale recruitment of youths of a particular caste in different government jobs in the state," Naik said here while replying to questions during a press conference on completion of his one-year in office.
"I have seen reports in this regard in the media of people from a particular caste being recruited or posted in government jobs. I will seek more information from the government and will comment on it only after that," he said.
To reports on the corruption charges levelled on different selection boards in the state, the Governor said information would be sought from the state government.
