Naldehra golf course being beautified: CM

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today said a sum of Rs 8 crore was being spent on beautification of Naldehra Golf glade, 23 km from here.

He said the tendering process was underway for the renovation of cottages also.

The Chief Minister said the golf course, surrounded by thick pine forests was one of the best golf coursesin the country and the credit goes to scions of the Koti Estate, under whose aegis the Koti Golf tournament was started.

He praised the efforts put in by Koti Gharana to promote the game and said Naldehra Golf course had been a witness of numerous prestigious tournaments like Dr Y S Parmar Memorial Invitational Golf Tournament, Chalet-Naldehra Golf Tournament, HPGA Golf Tournament and Old Cottonian Golf Tournament.
 

He also gave away prizes to the local boys in different age categories.
