Supermodel Naomi Campbell has lent her superstar status to the Ebola crisis by launching a Fashion for Relief Pop-Up Shop at Westfield shopping centre in London.

A number of Campbell's famous friends donated pieces of their wardrobe to the temporary store from which members of the public can buy a wide selection of exclusive designer items for the next one week only, reported Daily Mirror.

Items include clothes by designers Alexander McQueen, D&G, Givenchy and Jenny Packman - who donated a gold sequinned dress previously worn by Shirley Bassey.

Campbell was thrilled with the turn-out, saying, "It is a great time of year for a shop like this. People are looking for presents and looking for dresses to go out. What was important to me was finding a way to see how we could help."

The 44-year-old catwalk queen was also joined by some other famous faces including rapper Tinie Tempah and actor Idris Elba.
