Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi visited Bangla Sahib Gurudwara here today, seeking support for the BJP under the 'contact for support' campaign launched by the party in the run-up to the Lok Sabha election next year.

Naqvi met the head Granthi, Ranjeet Singh, and other office-bearers of the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) and presented a booklet on the achievements of the Modi government.

"I have come to apprise you about the inclusive growth and achievements of the Modi government and seek your blessings and support," Naqvi said.

Under the 'Sampark se Samarthan' campaign, BJP leaders meet eminent personalities to seek their support for the party.

Singh said that Naqvi was visiting a place of worship and like everyone else, his wishes would also be fulfilled.

The minister was greeted with traditional Saropa. DSGMC president Manjeet Singh was present on the occasion.
