The message of essential unity of humanity preached by saint-reformer Sree Narayana Guru was most important for social peace and harmony, Maharashtra Governor K Sankaranarayanan said today.
Inaugurating the annual pilgrimage at the Sivagiri Mutt here, the Governor said the true challenge of the Guru's disciples was not just propagating the message but striving to see it being practised by all.
