Union Minister V Narayanasamy, who filed his nomination papers today from Puducherry Lok Sabha constituency for the April 24 polls, has declared assets worth Rs 6.17 crore.
He has immovable property worth about Rs 5.44 crore and movable property valued at about Rs 73.10 lakh, which includes a Maruti SX4 car worth Rs 8 lakh and 150 gram gold ornaments valued at Rs 4.05 lakh.
Assets in the name of his late wife N Kalaiselvi is yet to be partitioned among the legal heirs, Narayanasamy, who is seeking re-election on Congress ticket said.
He has drawn loan of Rs 42.06 lakh from UCO Bank, he stated.
