Chief Minister V Narayanasamy distributed nilavembu liquid (a herbal syrup) to the residents in Anna Nagar under 'anti dengue initiatives' in his home constituency of Nellithope here today.
He told newsmen that the government had launched several important measures to prevent breeding of mosquitoes and spread of dengue.
He said that the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare Services in association with the Local Administration and Public Works Departments had been holding meetings with the members of Residents Welfare Associations in various centres here.
