Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy today expressed "satisfaction" over his recent meetings with, President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Central Ministers at New Delhi.
"The meetings were very satisfactory" Narayanasamy told reporters here after his return from New Delhi today.
He said a detailed memorandum was presented to the Prime Minister seeking inclusion of Puducherry in Central Finance Commission or earmark funds under the category of a Union Territory with Legislative Assembly to grant funds every year.

Narayanasamy said his government had drawn up plans to link Puducherry through air connectivity with Bangalore, Hyderabad, Tirupati, Coimbatore and Kochi.
He said he had asked officials to prepare a report on current fiscal position of Puducherry.
"Our intention is to give a development oriented programme" with the cooperation of the Centre, he said.
Narayanasamy was accompanied by all the ministers of Puducherry during his meetings with the President, Prime Minister and central ministers earlierr this week.
