Senior Congress leader and former union minister V Narayanasamy today charged Chief Minister N Rangasamy with 'failure' to get adequate Central funds, especially for flood relief works in the union territory.
In a release here, he said though Rangasamy had gone on record stating that he had written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for release of Rs 400 crores to tackle the post flood situation, no follow up step had been taken so far to secure the sanction.
He claimed that during the previous Congress led UPA government, developmental activities were on fast track in the union territory with release of adequate funds.
