Hailing the scientists of the ISRO for the successful launch today of 104 satellites on board a single rocket from Sriharikota, Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy said "this successful launch of the record number of satellites is a proud and historic moment for the country and its space technology."
Narayanasamy told reporters that he had sent a greeting message to the Chairman of ISRO A S Kiran Kumar immediately after the successful launch.
"I congratulate the ISRO scientists on my personal behalf and on behalf of the government and people of the Union Territory", he said.
The ISRO has been scaling greater heights with successive feats as the Mangalyaan rocket had already brought fame and acclaim globally to the organisation, he said.
