Chief Minister V Narayanasamy and his ministerial colleagues left here today for Delhi to meet Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and to discuss with him various issues faced by the union territory.

They will bring to the notice of the Union Home Minister the current fiscal situation faced by the government here and also a number of other issues faced by the administration and also the woes of students following NEET based selection to medical colleges, official sources said.

PWD Minister A Namassivayam, Welfare Miniter M Kandasamy, Health and Tourism Minister Malladi Krishna Rao, Industries Minister M O H F Shah Jahan and the Agriculture Minister R Kamalakannan are the ministers who have flown to Delhi along with the Chief Minister.

Already the MCI had cancelled the admission of 95 students under management quota in private medical colleges here as the candidates were allegedly admitted to the PG courses without formal counselling by the Centralised Admission Committee a few months ago.
