A narcotics smuggler was arrested and over 9 kgs of cannabis recovered from him in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Acting on a specific information, police began a check at Shan Palace in Ramban and intercepted one Abdul Rashid yesterday, police said here today.
During the search, 9.25 kgs of cannabis was recovered from him and Rashid was arrested, they said, adding a case has been registered against him and investigation had begun.
