An alleged narcotics smuggler was arrested with morphine worth about Rs two crore from village Dadra in Safdarganj area here, police said today.
Acting on a tip off, Ramu Verma was arrested as soon as he arrived here in a bus from nearby Ambedkar Nagar district, Superintendent of Police Anand Kulkarni said.
Two kg of morphine worth about Rs two crore in the international market was recovered from him, Kulkarni said.
