Narela blaze: Two firemen still feared trapped, rescue ops on

Two firefighters are still feared trapped under the debris of a plastic factory in outer Delhi's Narela which collapsed due to a blaze, even as rescue operation continued for the third day today.

One persons had died in building-collapse.

"The rescue operations are still continuing as two firemen are feared trapped under the rubble. Crane is being used to remove the debris," said a senior police officer.

The fire in the three-storey building, a plastic factory, was reported on September 28 and 35 fire tenders were rushed to the spot.

The fire led to the collapse of the building leaving a labourer Sanjan Kumar dead and five others, including three firefighters, injured.
