Noted labour activist and journalist, Narendra Sharma, passed away here yesterday after a brief illness. He was 90.
He is survived by his wife, a son and two daughters.
Sharma joined active politics while in college in Lahore (in present-day Pakistan) and worked for the cause of the common masses, especially the working class and the trade union movement.
A specialist of socialist politics, he was one of the most perceptive commentators on coalition politics during the Seventies.
