As many as 1,031 candidates are in fray for zilla parishad (ZP) and panchayat samiti polls in Nashik district, scheduled on February 21.
690 candidates withdrew their nomination papers for these polls yesterday, which was the last day for withdrawal, officials from district collectorate said.
After this, 1,031 candidates are in fray for the ZP and Panchayat Samiti polls, they added.
