Natalie Portman's husband converting to Judaism

Natalie Portman's husband Benjamin Millepied says he is currently in the process of converting to Judaism.

Millepied, 36, who is currently residing in Israel with wife and son, said he had fallen in love with the country, reported Us magzine.

Becoming Jewish is very important for me. I am anticipating that the process to come to an end soon and I will become a Jew," said Millepied, who is currently in the midst of the conversion process.

The couple first met on the set of 'Black Swan' back in 2010, where Millepied served as choreographer and had a small onscreen role.
 

They married in a private, nighttime Jewish ceremony in Big Sur, California in August 2012.
