Natco Pharma today posted a 32.27 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 29.88 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2013.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 22.59 crore for the same period of previous fiscal.
Net sales of the company rose to Rs 186.18 crore for the third quarter, compared to Rs 157.78 crore during the same period of previous fiscal, Natco Pharma said in a filing to the BSE.
The company's board, which met today, also recommended an interim dividend of Rs 5 per equity share, payable on March 6, 2014.
Natco Pharma shares today closed at Rs 743.80 apiece on the BSE, down 3.14 per cent from their previous close.
