NATHEALTH, apex body of Indian healthcare sector, has elected Johnson & Johnson Medical India MD Sushobhan Dasgupta as the President for one-year term. He succeeds Fortis Healthcare Exec VP Shivinder Mohan Singh.
Max India MD and Max Healthcare Institute Chairman Rahul Khosla and Philips India Vice Chairman & MD A Krishna Kumar were elected as Senior Vice President and Vice President respectively of the body, NATHEALTH said in a statement.
Calcutta Medical Research Institute CEO Suyash Borar has been elected as secretary of the body while Executive Vice Chairperson Apollo Hospitals Group Preetha Reddy has been elected as treasurer.
Commenting on the priorities of the NATHEALTH, Dasgupta said: "One of the major challenges facing India today is providing affordable healthcare to millions of unserved and underserved patients....We are committed to work towards reaching our goal of providing accessible and affordable healthcare for everyone.
