A two-day national conference on agriculture will begin here tomorrow to discuss the rabi (winter) crop prospects this year.
Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh will inaugurate the conference at Vigyan Bhawan, according to an official statement.
Ministers of State for Agriculture S S Ahluwalia, Parshottam Rupala and Sudarshan Bhagat will also be present on the occasion.

There will be broad-based discussions with state agriculture officers on preparedness for the rabi season, which begins next month.
That apart, the conference will review the progress made in the implementation of important schemes like Soil Health Card related to agriculture by the Centre in the last two years.
The main rabi crops are wheat, barley, gram, pulses, linseed and mustard.
