Two men, one of them a national level boxer, have been arrested in Monday's carjacking case in which one of their accomplices was shot dead in an encounter with police in Narela, police said today.

According to the police, Aman Dahiya and Sumit Dahiya were nabbed on the intervening night of July 23 and July 24 from a Gurgaon hotel.

Aman and Sumit are cousins and the latter is a national- level boxer. On Monday afternoon, the duo, along with their associate Amit Dahiya, had robbed a Ford Endeavour car from its owner at gun point from near Sachdeva School in Rohini.

However, after a Bollywood-like chase, Amit was shot dead by the police in an encounter in Outer Delhi's Narela area, during which a constable, who was chasing him, also sustained a bullet injury in his leg, police said.

During the police investigation, it was found that Aman and Sumit are active associates of Amit Dahiya. Both of them were impressed by the lifestyle of Amit who used to take them out for eating and other entertainments frequently.
