The wife of a Naval sailor belonging to the Eastern Naval command, who had raised allegations of financial irregularities against his senior officers and was presently kept in a Naval hospital here, today moved Kerala High Court seeking his discharge.
Alleging that her husband was being illegally kept in a hospital here and efforts were being made to establish that he was suffering from mental illness, the petitioner Aarti Sahu wanted the treatment to be stopped immediately.
Sunil Kumar Sahu, shipwright artificer at INS Kattabomman, Vijayanarayanam, in Tirunelveli, which comes under the Eastern Naval command, was in the custody of Navy in the name of treatment, Aarthi Sahu's counsel said.

The shipwright artificer had allegedly raised allegations of corruption against his commanding officers.
His wife contented that he was locked up in a cell following this and brought to Kochi on October 23 from Kattabomman and admitted at the INS Sanjivini here for treatment.
She alleged that efforts were being made by the Navy to portray Sahu as a mental patient. He has been kept at the psychiatry ward, she said.
The Eastern Naval command has ordered a Board of Enquiry to probe into the allegations raised by Sahu.
