Naveen to raise issues on cooperative federalism in ISC meet

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will raise issues relating to cooperative federalism in the Inter-State Council (ISC) meeting to be chaired by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi tomorrow.

Patnaik left for the national capital today to attend the 12th Standing Committee meeting of the ISC.

"I am going to Delhi today to attend the ISC Committee meeting to be chaired by the Union Home Minister tomorrow," Patnaik told reporters before leaving for New Delhi.

"The chief minister will raise crucial issues and concerns of Odisha with the Centre with emphasis on the spirit of cooperative federalism," CMO Odisha said in a tweet.
 

"I will also raise issues pertaining to Maoist activities in the state and may also discuss the Mahanadi Tribunal matter," Patnaik said.

According to the chief ministers office, Patnaik also has other official programmes in New Delhi.
