A BJP corporator and nine aides have been booked for allegedly assaulting a Maharashtra Navnirman Sena activist in neighbouring Navi Mumbai, police said Tuesday.
Late Monday night, BJP corporator Vijay Chiplekar and his aides attacked MNS' Prashant Jadhav (35) in Shubhangan complex in Kamothe over the issue of installing mobile phone towers there, an official said.
"The incident has been captured in the CCTV network installed in the building. We have booked Chiplekar and his aides for voluntarily causing hurt using dangerous weapons as well as other offences. Probe is on," he said.
