Indian Navy will organise a three-day long free medical camp for general public in Amarpur village of Haryana's Palwal district as part of Navy Week-2016 celebrations.
Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Sunil Lanba would inaugurate the camp, to be organised between November 19 qand 21, at Government Senior Secondary School in Amarpur tomorrow, an Indian Navy spokesperson said today.
He said a medical team consisting of 14 specialists and super-specialty medical officers in various fields of medicine and 24 para-medical staff from the premier Naval Hospital INHS Asvini, Mumbai would conduct out-patient consultation for medical, surgical, gynaecology, pediatrics, eye, ENT, skin, cardiology and endocrinology ailments.

The camp would also have a dental chair supported by laboratory, ultrasonography and pharmacy facilities, he said, adding facility to screen for cervix and breast cancer in women would also be there.
Besides, a booth would also be set up by the recruitment directorate where details of various recruitment procedures for joining the Indian Navy would be provided, he added.
