A naxal carrying a reward of Rs 5000
on his head was arrested in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district today, police said.
Made Chandraiya (35) was apprehended by a team of district force on a specific tip off from Old bus stand in Bijapur town, a police official told PTI.
The police team cordoned off the area after getting inputs about the arrival of Chandraiya.
On spotting the police personnel, the ultra tried to escape from the spot but was nabbed after a short chase, he said.
He was involved in the murder of a constable of Madded police station of Bijapur in 2010, the official said.
