Notwithstanding Home Minister P Chidambaram's statement that Central security agencies had no proof of CPI-Maoists having links with the Paresh Baruah-led anti-talk faction of ULFA, Gogoi said his government has enough evidence that both the groups have close links.

"Be it ULFA, be it NSCN-IM or be it (Manipur's) PLA, every one has close links with Maoists. We have no doubt about that," he told a press conference here.

Last week, the Union home minister had said that he has no evidence to prove CPI-Maoists' links with the Paresh Baruah-led ULFA faction.

"He (Chidambaram) may have his own sources, but I have my own," Gogoi said.

He said small or big, all insurgent groups have links with each other and there was no difference between themselves and their activities.

"They only kill innocent people and talk about the so- called exploitation of the poor. There is no difference between A, B or C group," he said.

Recently, security agencies had busted a Maoist group in Assam besides an arms haul from a Manipur based group which was transporting the ammunition to the Naxals in Central India.
