Naxalsset on fire at least four vehicles and one machine engaged in road construction work in this district of Chhattisgarh, police said today.
The incident took place late last night near Bhojli village under Chhuikhadan police station limit, where a road is being constructed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna.
A group of armedrebels reached the site, around 110km from here, and asked the labourers and supervisor to leave the place. They then torched around three trucks, one tractor and one JCB machine engaged in the road construction work, a police official said.

Aftersetting ablaze the vehicles and the machine, the insurgents fled into the nearby forest, he added.
On getting information about the incident, a police team rushed to the spot and launched a combing operation to nab the ultras, the official added.
