NBCC bags contracts worth Rs 8,523 crore in December

State-run construction firm NBCC today said it has bagged contracts worth Rs 8,523 crore in last month.

"Secured total business amounting to Rs 8,523 crore (approximately) in the month of December," the company said in a BSE filing.

Of the total business, the company said works worth Rs 8,195 crore were related to project management consultancy (PMC) and projects worth Rs 328 crore were related to the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) business.

NBCC had bagged projects worth Rs 192.74 crore in November.

NBCC, which is under the administrative control of the Urban Development Ministry, is present in three main segments - Project Management Consultancy (PMC), real estate and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC contracting).

NBCC also added that IIT Mandi had awarded the job of construction of academic building, guest house, gymnasium, hospital and auditorium for Rs 294.78 crore to the company.
