NBCC gets Rs 250 crore contract to construct hospital in West Bengal

The company secured a total business of Rs 344.72 crore in July

State-owned firm NBCC has bagged a Rs 250 crore contract to construct a hospital in West Bengal.

"NBCC has secured work for construction of 30-bedded ESIC hospital at Baltikuri, West Bengal amounting to Rs 250 crore," the company said in a regulatory filing.

The company has also secured a total business of Rs 344.72 crore in July, it added.

NBCC, under the administrative control of Ministry of Urban Development, is present in three main segments - Project Management Consultancy (PMC), Real Estate Development and EPC Contracting.

Meanwhile, the government has kick-started the process to sell 15% stake in NBCC and has invited merchant bankers to manage the share sale. Last month, the Cabinet had cleared 15% stake sale of NBCC through an offer for sale (OFS).
