State-run National Building Construction Corporation (NBCC) today reported a 30 per cent increase in its consolidated profit to Rs 133.63 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, on account of rise in income.
The company had clocked a net profit of Rs 102.73 crore in the same period last year.
Income from operations increased to Rs 1,814 crore in the January-March quarter of current financial year from Rs 1,436 crore in the same quarter a year ago, NBCC said in a BSE filing.

For the entire 2014-15 fiscal, the company profit increased by 8 per cent to Rs 278.27 crore from Rs 257.45 crore in the previous fiscal.
The total income during the year under review also rose to Rs 4,674 crore from Rs 4,070 crore.
In October last year, the company incorporated subsidiary company in the name of "NBCC Services" to carry on the business of providing post construction maintenance services and to act as an implementation agency for undertaking corporate social responsibilities projects and related activities.
NBCC comes under the administrative control of Ministry of Urban Development, provides project management consultancy services for construction projects, civil infrastructure for power sector and real estate development.
Shares of the company today closed at Rs 807.15, down by 0.65 per cent.
